The James Fowler Chapter was granted its charter on March 12, 1927, with 17 charter members. It originally met in Leroy (now Westfield Center), Ohio. It was named for James Fowler, a founding resident of Medina County who was granted a portion of the Western Reserve Territory which included Westfield Township. This was given in recompense for land lost in the Revolutionary War.
Our LocationWe serve Medina County with our members residing in Medina, Wadsworth, Lafayette, Lodi, Spencer, Chatham, Brunswick, Chippewa Lake, Westfield Center, and Seville. Our MeetingsMeetings are held the second Saturday, September through June in the afternoon. We do not meet in January or April. Our June meeting is a picnic at a member's home.
