Ohio DAR Sponsors Scholarships to Support the Education Mission


Scholarships

NSDAR Scholarship Committee: offers an array of scholarships, each with specific criteria. All applicants must be citizens of the United States and attend an accredited college or university in the United States. All scholarships are awarded without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. Unless otherwise noted, no relationship to DAR is required for qualification. Please visit the NSDAR Scholarships webpage and review the criteria carefully to determine eligibility for NSDAR sponsored scholarships.

The DAR also offers additional scholarships through other committees, e.g. DAR Good Citizens Committee and American Indians Committee.

Ohio State Society DAR Wings of Eagles Scholarships

The Ohio State Society DAR awards Wings of Eagles Scholarships each year. Applicants must be legal residents of Ohio. Awards will be based on academic excellence and character. All applicants must be sponsored by an Ohio DAR chapter.

The application deadline is January 31. All parts of the application must be submitted to the sponsoring chapter. Applications will not be considered without endorsement by a sponsoring chapter.
